What Are Conjunctions And Interjections?

The function of conjunction is to hook up!These are simply known as joining words. These words join two sentences together so that the sentence gets its meaning.

In simpler form conjunction is a word which joins two words, sentences, clauses & phrases with each other.

e.g.and, so , but, that, as well as,before etc.

This will be more clear from the following sentences. The words marked in "Bold" are conjunctions.

a) Preeti and Supriya are weak in Mathematics.

b) Rohan and Amit are good athletes.

c) Sumit is good in acting but Karan is best.

d) He is small but strong.

e) My brother and I went to the market.

f) Think before you speak.

g) I went to KulluManali with my family.

i) Rohan and Shailesh are best friends.

j) Maruti and Suzuki are two different companies.

So we have seen that conjunctions are very important part of speech as it connects two sentences. If we do not use conjunction then the conversation or writing will become lengthy.

For instance: Let us reconsider example "e".

In example "e' we had joined two sentences.

1) I went to market.

2) My brother went to market.

Speak these sentences: I went to market. My brother went to market. Feeling uneasy in reading....yes.

Now read this sentence:My brother and I went to market. See how simply the message is conveyed.

Really Conjunctions has made the English speaking very simple! Don't you think so?

Think you have reached office in the morning & you find letter. You have opened it and found that it is your "Promotion letter" ! What will be the first word which you speak??? WOW!, YES I GOT IT FINALLY, THANK U GOD !etc .etc...

What are these words called in English vocabulary ?

Yes u got it right. These words are called as "Interjections".

So lets make it simple.

The words through which we express our feelings or emotions are called as Interjections.

e.g. : Wow !! This is a beautiful place.

Some more interjections are alas! Hey!oh ! ouch!Indeed!

Avoid These Affiliate Marketing Mistakes

We all make mistakes. It's part of the process of learning. But some mistakes are greater than others. Take affiliate marketing as an example.

It's considered to be the easiest and quickest way to make money online. Yet for some people it just doesn't work. The concept is pretty straight forward. As an affiliate marketer you earn commissions by promoting other people's products or services on the internet. You find a product you like, promote it to a target audience, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.

So where do people go wrong. Here are 5 common affiliate marketing mistakes to avoid.

1. Don't Expect Instant Success

Affiliate marketing online can generate revenue fairly quickly. Having said that, a life-changing income won't happen overnight. It takes time to build an audience and a customer base. If you accept that making money with affiliate marketing is a legitimate business model you'll realize that you have to put appropriate business strategies in place to succeed and these take time to implement.

2. Don't Target A Large Generic Audience

You'll have more success if you target a smaller niche market rather than a massive market. For example, 'weight loss' is a massive market. But 'weight loss for women over 40' is much more niche and targeted. The most successful affiliates directly target a specific niche market which a product or service that is designed for people in that market.

3. Don't Give Up Too Quickly

Affiliate marketing is a competitive business. And many people give up right when they are on the brink of developing of success. You can make a profit from affiliate marketing but you need to take a long-term view and commit to a least 1 or 2 years to build up your business.

4. Don't Promote Anything and Everything

Restrict yourself to a handful of high-value products that have good reviews by customers. Don't just promote all and every affiliate program that pays out high commissions. Promoting anything and everything, with a new offer going out to your email list or website visitors every day, is a quick way to get dismissed by your audience.

5. Don't Be Like Every Other Affiliate

Don't forget that there are many other affiliates promoting the same products and services you are.To encourage people to buy from you, rather than another affiliate, create a bonus, such as an eBook, report or video that someone would be happy to pay for. By doing this you add value to the purchase, something that the majority of other affiliate marketers never do.

Points To Consider Before Starting an Affiliate Home Business

What to Consider before starting an affiliate home business?

1. Do You Have Any Internet Marketing Experience?

It's all very well deciding to start a business from home in internet marketing or more specifically as an affiliate marketer but you're going to need to gain some knowledge in at least the fundamental skills of online marketing before you can expect to make a decent monthly income. You might have seen the many "sales pages" out there offering the latest piece of "just one click" software which makes you thousands each day without even having a website or any prior knowledge. But if you want my advice, stay away from those. If it really was that straightforward, wouldn't everyone be investing $39.00 to buy the software? The ClickBank screen shots you see are actually their earnings from the thousands of sales they've made from their $39.00 piece of software. In reality, you need to be prepared to invest in yourself and get trained in internet marketing.

2. Do You Own Your Own Website?

Whilst it is possible to earn money with some affiliate programmes without, you will increase your earning potential greatly by having your own website or blog with which to market the products or services you are planning to become an affiliate of. Better still, you should look at creating a website in order to start promoting yourself, You Inc! If people come to know and trust you as an honest genuine person (which I am assuming you are!) then they will be more likely to buy from you than the next person they come across who is recommending the same products as you!

3. How Much Time Do You Have For Your New Business?

It's important when you get started to know exactly what time you do have to put into your new home business. Map it out in a DMO (Daily Method of Operation). Get a blank week view of a diary or calendar (you could create this in a spreadsheet). Plot your current commitments like your job e.g. if you work 9-5, mark out that part of your diary or calendar as JOB. If you have dinner with your family between 5-6pm, mark it on the diary. If you go to the gym every Wednesday after work, mark it in the diary. When you are finished, you should now have a clear view of how much time you have to spend on building your business. If you have very few time slots left on the diary, then you will need to consider whether you can sacrifice any of the other commitments in favour of more time for your business (I don't recommend you drop your family time!) or you will have to market with more of the paid methods that take up less time but will of course cost you more money which brings me to my next point.

4. Do You Have Any Money To Invest?

It is possible to build an income online with very little marketing budget but you should be prepared to invest some money upfront whatever opportunity you partner with. The best affiliate businesses are the ones that offer top tier products of high value that people need and are interested in. Let me ask you this, would you rather try and find 100 people to buy a $40 product for a $15 commission a time or sell one product and earn anywhere from $1500-$16000? I know which I would rather do. Find an affiliate business with high ticket items.

5. Which Products or Services Are the Best to Refer

We've already covered this in part. Look for high value products, something that you would be happy to purchase yourself. Without purchasing and using a product yourself, you can't hope to be any good at referring it.. Would you refer a restaurant to a friend if you hadn't even eaten there yourself? What about a film at the movies that you hadn't even seen? Find a product that is within a growing market or trend. In this economy more people than ever are looking for ways to make the most of their money and earn more of it or have it working for them so financial products and wealth creation education is a popular trend. Internet marketing education of course is another huge market.

6. How Much Do You Want to Earn?

Goal setting is important in any business whether you are working for a boss or running your own affiliate business from home. Even more so in the latter case because you are accountable to no-one but yourself. So if your plan is to replace your job income with your home business so that you can sack your boss or pay off some debt then write it down and work the figures backwards so you know exactly how many products you need to sell per day/week/month to realise your goal. Of course if you are in a job earning $2000-$3000 per month and you have chosen a top tier direct sales company to refer products for, then it's not going to take many sales to quit your day job! Refer back to Point 4

7. Are You Serious About Replacing Your Job?

Many people talk about quitting their jobs, escaping the rat-race but never actually do anything about it. Or they start a part-time home business but don't treat it seriously enough for it to grow to a level where they can comfortably leave their job. Whether it's part-time, full time, home based or a brick and mortar business, building a successful business requires consistent time and effort. Put a plan together, create a DMO like we talked about in point 3, set some goals and work hard. The reason most people fail is because they just don't want it bad enough. If you want to "get out" badly enough, you will do whatever it takes.

8. Have You Considered All The Options Out There?

There are many options out there when it comes to earning money online but this article assumes that you have made the decision you want to start an affiliate home business versus joining an MLM for example or starting your own ecommerce site. So when it comes to affiliate marketing, there are hundreds of options out there. You can join marketplaces such as ClickBank and Plimus for example and promote low cost items like digital products, ebooks etc. There are other networks you can join to refer physical products. Many of these large marketplaces and networks have low cost products and therefore the commissions per sale are small. A lot of large well known companies are now using affiliate marketing to increase their exposure. On the other hand, you can sign up with companies like Amazon as an affiliate. In fact, many of the services you might buy on the internet when you start learning how to market probably have affiliate programmes attached to them. Domain hosting, bookmarking services, article submission software, the list goes on. Then of course there are the high value, top tier products from which to earn high upfront profits. This would be my recommended business model.

9. Single Income Stream or Multiple Income Streams

Of course, you want multiple streams of income. If you have any kind of website where you offer value that you use in your marketing efforts, why not have a Recommended Resources page that lists all the tools you use to grow your business, with a link (your affiliate link of course) to the main sales website for each particular product. Affiliate marketing in it's simplest form! Banners on your main website for relevant brands work too. If you are building a list through your website, you can broadcast offers of other related products to your subscribers as part of your marketing plan.

10. Are You Up For It?

It takes discipline, belief, desire and consistent effort to build a successful business. Three of the four things I just mentioned are about having the right mindset. The other one is just about putting it into practice. So working as hard on yourself as you do on your business is also vital to your success. If you are not prepared to spend time studying and reading to improve your mindset, then you may as well resign yourself to the 9-5 of your job for the rest of your working life! All it takes is 15 minutes per day - so do you have what it takes to grow a successful affiliate home business?

Twitter Marketing Tips

Always test headlines. Headlines are the cornerstone of Twitter. Mastering the art of writing on Twitter is crucial to the success of this support. Most of the content is consumed today in the flow - a constant stream of moving titles swept Twitter, Facebook and other social networks.

Use hashtags wisely. It is like a busy mall - millions of people scattered around the mall with thousands of different conversations simultaneously. Imagine you are a merchant in this mall shoes. Do not you want to connect directly with people who talk about shoes? Of course you would. A hashtag allows you to do so.

Incorporate Twitter cards. It maps correspond to adding an attachment to an email. It is primarily text based. This new feature allows to include a richer multimedia experience. Once you have the code required on your blog, Twitter will automatically add the image or video found on the URL of your blog you share on it.

Increase Retweets - Keep It Short. According to research by Tracksocial, the ideal length of a tweet is 100 characters. Keep tweets under 100 characters provides enough space for your followers to retweet (RT) and comment when they share.

Increase followed - Follow to follow. This tip is an incredibly simple thing to implement. Follow the Twitter account called @MagicRecs. It was created by Twitter as an experiment to help users to find new people to follow and receive content recommendations via direct messages.

Increase performance. Twitter is a stream moving fast. The new content grows older content in the channel. Subscribers must browse your feed to see all your updates. Content Optimization for SMO

The entire world is speaking about social media optimization, but it does not mean everybody really gets it to the point. They definitely have not known what does the verb "to optimize" mean. Some brainiac might state that the roots of this word go to the Latin word "optima". Well, maybe they are right, but there is a better definition. According to the dictionary of the 19th century, to optimize means "to act as an optimist", also meaning "to make most of". Yet, back in the 19th century they have already known where it's at.

So, let's go for it. Here are some bullet points to take into consideration for Social Media Optimization:

1. First of all, increase your linkability:

Apply catchy and branding headlines, update the content as often as it is possible and don't forget about creating sticky content features such as downloads or rules/lists.

2. Secondly make bookmarking and tagging easier:

That means that you need to aggregate relevant tags to every blog post so that these posts will be able to appear in the aggregations listed by keyword. Additionally, it is recommendable to use quick buttons in order to let audience save a blog to any kind of social bookmarking tool. Finally, but not less importantly, try to reward inbound links.

3. Furthermore, intent to help your content travel:

Offer email subscriptions, provide direct links for visitors in your social media post content.

4. Blog networks for SMO:

Find blog networks which might be helpful in distribution of the content.

5. Social media benefits for both marketers and consumers:

As far as social media has occupied a significant position in cyber life, it is reasonably enough to conclude that they represent an advanced set of behavioural patterns both for marketers and consumers. Use the rule of four actions and your SMO strategy will result outstanding. So, if you are able to implement changes in order to optimize your work as much as possible, include the following: content, measuring, listening and socializing.

Simple is that! The most important part of the fore-mentioned is socializing. This mechanism is always in demand when a social object needs to be bookmarked, digged, reposted, liked, favourited, followed, stumbled upon or whatever. Due to the fact that the content is not read by a limited group of people, it gets spread fluently, becoming relevant at the same time.

Hence, your content should be posted in the right category. The certain thing is that due to commercial interests plenty of companies intent to show social media more complex than it really is. But from the realistic point of view, it is all manageable.

Conscious and Unconscious Mind

Theories about the unconscious vary widely within psychological circles, from the Freudian view that it’s a storehouse of socially unacceptable desires, traumatic memories, and painful emotions to cognitive psychology’s perspective that the unconscious mind is simply a bundle of cognitive processes that we’re not aware of, not an entity in itself.

The truth is that it’s hard to prove any of these theories. Just as we know that the universe is vast, we know the unconscious mind is powerful. And like our research into space, our knowledge of the unconscious mind is limited by the scientific equipment we have available to observe it. So we end up subscribing to theories we find most useful. For me, that means the perspectives of Huna, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Jung.

To laypeople in Western cultures, the unconscious mind has been viewed as an enemy, a murky power that swooped in to sabotage our conscious desires. It became the scapegoat for every failure, mistake or unwanted reaction. More recently, people have come to think of the unconscious mind as a tool they can consciously use to get where they want to go. They bludgeon the mind with affirmations then wonder why they aren’t working.

But Huna, NLP, and Jung treat the unconscious mind with a lot more respect. They believe that the unconscious has specific, important roles to play and duties to perform. They see the unconscious mind as having a wisdom of its own that should be honored. And they emphasize working with the unconscious rather than trying to browbeat it into submission or ignoring it.

You don’t need a PhD in psychology to work effectively with your unconscious, but you do need to understand a few basics. Here are a few of the aspects of the unconscious that I teach my students in Huna and NLP, and how they apply to you.

The unconscious mind:

Preserves the body: One of its main objectives is the survival of your physical body. It will fight anything that appears to be a threat to that survival. So if you want to change a behavior more easily, show your unconscious how that behavior is hurting your body.

Runs the body: The unconscious handles all of your basic physical functions (breathing, heart rate, immune system, etc.). Huna believes that the unconscious holds the blueprint of your body as it is now and also the blueprint of your perfect health. Rather than telling the unconscious what perfect health looks like, try asking it what it knows and what you need for better health.

Is like a 7-year old child: Like a young child, the unconscious likes to serve, needs very clear directions, and takes your instructions very literally. So if you say, “This job is a pain in the neck,” your unconscious will figure out a way to make sure that your neck hurts at work! The unconscious is also very “moral” in the way a young child is moral, which means based on the morality taught and accepted by your parents or surroundings. So if you were taught that “sex is nasty,” your unconscious will still respond to that teaching even after your conscious mind has rejected it.

Communicates through emotion and symbols: To get your attention, the unconscious uses emotions. For example, if you suddenly feel afraid, your unconscious has detected (rightly or wrongly) that your survival is at risk.

Stores and organizes memories: The unconscious decides where and how your memories are stored. It may hide certain memories (such as traumas) that have strong negative emotions until you are mature enough to process them consciously. When it senses that you are ready (whether you consciously think you are or not!), it will bring them up so you can deal with them.

Does not process negatives: The unconscious absorbs pictures rather than words. So if you say, “I don’t want to procrastinate,” the unconscious generates a picture of you procrastinating. Switching that picture from the negative to the positive takes an extra step. Better to tell your unconscious, “Let’s get to work!”

Makes associations and learns quickly:  To protect you, the unconscious stays alert and tries to glean the lessons from each experience.  For example, if you had a bad experience in school, your unconscious may choose to lump all of your learning experiences into the “this is not going to be fun” category. It will signal you with sweaty palms and anxiety whenever you attempt something new. But if you do well in sports, your unconscious will remember that “sports equals success” and you’ll feel positive and energized whenever physical activity comes up.

There’s much more to the unconscious mind. In fact, my latest book is focused on the unconscious, how it works, and how to work with it. But even just understanding the basics above will help you harness its power

Few Tips to Improve Grammar

Learning any new language is a challenging task. The first step towards learning any new is to understand its grammar rules and apply it in your spoken and written language. Learning grammar is never easy and it takes time and effort to have a good grasp over it. Most native speakers make grammatical errors while speaking and writing and find it difficult to improve. But once you have a hold over the grammar than you will always speak and write correctly. You will not have any problem in forming sentences and this is the ultimate goal of any language learner. Correct grammar ensures that you are communicating effectively and clearly.

Following are the few tips which will help you improve your grammar:

Practice exercises

There are plenty of grammar exercises available online. You can practice them for free. There is also lot of grammar material available which explains key components of grammar like nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, use of proper tenses etc. Taking up grammar exercises and quizzes on daily basis will help you improve your grammar to a great extent.

Note down the mistakes that you make and improve upon it by taking more exercises in that particular concept. Work on it for a few days.

Speak and write in English

Once you start speaking and writing in English the results of your efforts will show. Practicing grammar is not limited to exercises and quizzes but actually applying it in your daily lives.

Pay attention to grammar when you're reading or listening

When you're reading a book or a newspaper try to pay attention to the sentence structure and understand why a particular sentence is written in a particular way. Try to make sentence of the similar type. If you're not able to make then do go through the grammar concepts and understand the rules.

Some Useful English Grammar Rule

Finding yourself in a dilemma due to grammar rules while writing is quite embarrassing. No one wishes to get stuck in this situation. Though, grammar is tricky, but you cannot make your writing sophisticated without learning it.

Do you always wish to have someone around you to do grammar check of your writing? Do not worry; you are not the only one. Many who are learning English always wish to have an English teacher to correct them whatever they write. However, it is not possible every time.

Why do not you take the help of the tool that does grammar check free? It corrects your piece of writing and highlights your mistakes. The finest thing is that you come across where you committed wrong.

Common Rules That You Must Keep In Your Mind -

You must use a free online grammar checker to make your text errors free. Here, some of the most common mistakes have cited below.

1. Homophones -

They are words that hold different meaning, but sound the same. Before using them, you must come across their meaning. If you use the wrong word instead of the right one, it can bring the value of your writing down.

Example -

Fare - Fair
There -Their
It's - Its
Cite - Sight
Then - Than
Take a Look -

Go to the traffic light, and then take left. (Here, Then works as an adverb)
Komal is smarter than Mr. Paul. (Here, Than introduces a comparison)
2. Rules for Split Infinitives -

They are the two-word form of verbs like to read, to watch, to call etc. Split Infinitives happens when you place an adverb between TO and A Verb.

Example -

She used to diligently teach him.
You have to really write a book.
Some individual thinks that it is grammatically incorrect and one must avoid it. They might go for writing the sentence once again by eliminating TO in these sentences. But still, it has not been justified. Since it is still a topic of discussion among the intellectuals, you must avoid it in formal writing.

3. Do not Use THAT Referring A Person -

Many beginners make this mistake belong to the use of "That." You must keep in your mind that never uses "THAT" when you are going to indicate towards a person.

"THAT" is used for referring objects.
"Who or Whom" is used for referring individuals.
Using THAT instead of WHO/WHOM means insulting them.

Example -

Kusum is the one THAT rescued the Doggy. (Incorrect)
Kusum is the one who rescued the Doggy. (Correct)
4. Adding "ed" to verbs -

When it comes to writing something happened in the past, you need to add "ED" to regular verbs. The verb having ED in the end highlights that something occurred in the past is talking about.

Example -

Stop - Stopped
Target - Targeted
But this rule does not go with all verbs and that is why you need to expand the aura of knowledge.

Example -

Drink - Drinked (Wrong)
Drink - Drank (correct)
It seems a bit tricky, but constant practice can make you a master of this thing.

If you keep these rules in your mind while writing, your command over this language will get increased.

Importance of English Grammar Structure

Very often, when conveying your thoughts in writing using the English language is also a test of your intelligence. This is because you are judged by how convincing you are able put your message across. Learning English grammar is therefore important in proving your intelligence. There are many tests of such intelligence you need to be wary of.

One common grammar rule that even native speakers forget is in showing possession. This is a common theme in the English language. When showing possession with "your", be careful not to be confused with "you're" or "you are". For example, in this sentence, "The library book is not yours, so you're reminded to take good care of it." One way of remembering this rule is to replace the contraction with the phrase "you are" to check if it fits correctly.

Another common mistake is the use of the words "effect" and "affect". In fact, even professionals sometimes get tripped up on the correct usage of these words. Just be wary that "affect" is a verb and is therefore the action to be done in a sentence, such as "Your diet affects your health." On the other hand, "effect" is a noun or adjective, and used in a sentence such as "The effect of a poor diet is poor health."

This leads us to two more words which are commonly confused with each other for learners of English. And they are "there" and "their". The word "there" is used to indicate a location, while "their" is used to show ownership. However, this one is easy to remember. An example would be "There are many flowers in the vase, and each of their colours is different."

"Good" and "well" are two words that are often taught wrongly in English language schools. For example, "I am feeling good," sounds normal and is common among speakers of English. However, this is actually not correct because "good" is not a noun, it is an adjective. "Well" is a noun, and so it should be used to replace "good" in this case. So, "I am feeling well" is the proper response to the question "How are you feeling?"

One of the biggest stumbling blocks for foreign learners of the English language is the proper usage of "a" and "an". We use "an" before a word that begins with a vowel like "egg". This seems easy enough, but gets problematic with words like "hour", which doesn't begin with a vowel. Only when it is pronounced do we understand why the word "an" is required.

Although learning the English language can sometimes be frustrating, with patience and practice it can be easily grasped within a year. It's true that a learner can have the majority of the language down in a year. It just requires practice, practice and more practice.

Importance of English Grammar Exercise

English as native language or second language is the most widely used throughout the world. Most of the people are intent to be fluent in English, because English can be instrumental to their personal and professional success. At the beginning of learning English, we must pay much attention to English grammar. That is to say, we must learn something about the way words work together, the way we express different times or tenses, the way we use adjectives, adverbs, prepositions and so on. Only with correct grammar can we learn English well. Some people may confuse why it is that important. It is believed by them that without grammar exercises they can also organize words together and communicate with others in English. But sentences with incorrect grammar are always meaningless and the message contained in them may be unclear. This means that you can't communicate effectively and the person who is listening to you or reading your work may be quite confused as to your meaning.

There is a saying that you have to learn to walk before you can run. It is applied to English learning. Before being fluent in English, you must learn English words and the way how words are organized. For those who have noticed the importance of grammar and decided to learn, there exists another problem that is how to improve it and make sure that it is correct. The only way to deal with this problem is to do English grammar exercises. When learning English grammar, practice is indispensable. So we need to do large numbers of exercises. Some people practice each grammar point once. This kind of practice is incorrect and has no effect on improving grammar. Instead, we should practice each point over and over until we can use it easily.

There are many ways to do English grammar exercises, which include read books, surf the Internet to find materials about English grammar exercises and discuss with other learners in some forums.
In the progress of doing English grammar exercises, there is a point that should not be neglected. Do not hang up on perfect grammar. It is unnecessary, because the aim to learn grammar is to communicate in English clearly. Mastering it correctly is enough as long as you can express yourself and make others understood. On the contrary, paying too much attention to perfect grammar sometimes makes the sentence not that flexible.

What is Conscious and Sub-Conscious Mind?

What is the conscious mind?
The conscious mind is the part of your mind that is responsible for logic and reasoning. If i asked you about the sum of one plus one it's your conscious mind that is going to be used to make that addition.

The conscious mind also controls all the actions that you do on intention while being conscious. For example, When you decide to make any voluntary action like moving your hand or leg it is done by the conscious mind.

So whenever you are aware of the thing you're doing you can be confident that you are doing it by your conscious mind. If currently there is a cup of coffee beside you and you decided to take a sip then all of this process will be done by your conscious mind because you were 100% conscious while doing it.

The conscious mind is also known to be the gate keeper for the mind. If someone tried to present you with a belief that doesn't match your belief system then your conscious mind will filter that belief. The same will happen when someone criticizes you or call you names.

If for example, someone told you that you are "dumb" your conscious mind will filter this statement and let you realize that you are not really dumb.

What is the subconscious mind?
The subconscious mind is the part of your mind responsible for all of your involuntary actions. Your breathing rate and heart beats are controlled by your subconscious mind.

If you started to control your breath on intention then know that your conscious mind took charge while if you were breathing without being conscious of the breathing process then know that your subconscious mind is in charge.

Your emotions are also controlled by your subconscious mind. That's why you sometimes might feel afraid, anxious or down without wanting to experience such a feeling.

Your subconscious mind is also the place where your beliefs and memories are stored. That's why affirmations make no sense and can never improve your beliefs. Affirmations are done on a conscious level and are always filtered by the subconscious mind because they usually don't match your belief system.

The right way to change a limiting belief is to convince the conscious mind logically to accept it so that it can pass to the subconscious mind and reside there. (see How to change limiting beliefs)

How to use the conscious and the subconscious mind together
There is a simple exercise that you can do in order to perfectly understand the difference between the conscious and the unconscious mind.

I want you now to start controlling your breathing rate as if you are going to apply a relaxation technique. While you were controlling your breath your conscious mind was in charge.

Now stop controlling your breath and let it flow naturally. When you forget about this exercise you will notice how your subconscious mind returns your breathing rate back to its norms.

In order to achieve personal growth the best thing you can do to yourself is to understand how both the conscious and the unconscious mind work together and then take advantage of their combined power.

One great example that explains how both can be used together is how emotions can be controlled. Since emotions are triggered by the unconscious mind its impossible to stop them but knowing that the conscious mind processes thoughts, which are the primary trigger for emotions, you can easily control your thoughts and in turn your emotions

Off Page And On Page SEO Techniques

SEO is one of the most popularly used techniques to attract size-able traffic and obtain high ranking in the search results (SERP). Webmasters often segregate SEO techniques into two segments; On Page SEO and Off Page SEO.

What is meant by On Page SEO?

On Page SEO can be referred to as all the activities conducted within a website like description, title, keywords, content, linking, etc. On Page SEO technique means designing and building a website so that it is search engine friendly.

What is meant by Off Page SEO?

Off Page SEO can make any website largely visible and popular over the internet. It gives the website high visibility and improvises its position in the SERPs.

While optimizing your portal or website, there are numerous factors to be considered for gaining optimum website performance. According to search engine optimization agency experts, both On Page and Off Page techniques are equally important and can do wonders to strengthen your online marketing strategy. The combination of both off page as well as on page techniques can give you excellent positive results.

Essential components or factors of On Page SEO used by the best SEO company webmasters are as follows:

  • Superior Content - This includes good quality and original content that consists of blogs, articles, info-graphics, and high-quality pictures. A website with low-quality images and poor content has no chance of surviving in the competitive online world.
  • Internal Links - The term internal linking refers to a process of creating links within the website pages. This helps the search engines ascertain the primary web pages and other pages. Internal linking facilitates easy navigation within the website and stalls the visitors for a while.
  • Giving Titles and Short Descriptions - A unique title and a Meta description is necessary to distinguish your website details from other websites. During the search results, only the main gist and title of your website is visible to the users. Therefore, it has to be short yet descriptive.
  • Formatting the Website - Formatting a website is the main feature of On Page SEO. Optimisation of original images using ALT tags and giving importance to main content over secondary content, these things are looked after during formatting. Without correct formatting, a website loses its sheen; all primary and secondary content would be jumbled and mixed up.
  • Uniform Resource Locator - URL structure is the most crucial part of any On Page SEO strategy. The permanent links i.e. the URL of every page are used to describe the web pages to both the search engines and the visitors. A URL has to be factually correct and very relevant to the website theme. It should also be short, crisp and expressive.
Let us consider some best Off Page SEO techniques popularly used by search engine optimization services for this year:
  • Social Networking Sites - If you want your business to flourish and get popular, communicating with a wide range of audience through social media platforms is the best tactics. The more back links you gain, the more chances you get for development and growth of your business.
  • Submission to Forums - It is essential to make a connection with an online forum community that relates to your site's ideology. Replying to threads, answering to queries, giving out helpful suggestions are some of the ways to connect with a forum community.
  • Submitting Articles - Make a detailed research and try to submit all your articles in a high-quality Page Rank article submission directory. For that, your content needs to be original, unique and classy. Poor quality content with useless keyword stuffing may get out-rightly rejected. The articles also should have the perfect titles and slotted in a relevant category.
  • Submitting Videos - If you desire to optimize your website with images and videos, then you have to find popular video submission portals. It is important to provide the correct title, Meta tags and descriptions, and appropriate reference links before the submission. Video submission sites have high PR and they can provide your website with best quality back links.

Three SEO Tips To Achieve First Page Ranking

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) can seem very confusing to those who know very little about it.

While SEO is something that should be left to the professionals for anyone serious about getting either more business online, more online sales, or getting their blog out to a wide audience, if you're just playing around, or interested in learning, here are a few tips to get you started.

1. Focus on a few keywords per page

Keywords are a huge part of SEO. Keywords are what actually achieve rankings on the search engines. For example, if you own a bog about running, obviously, "running" would be a major keyword.

The key thing to learn is finding the balance between having the keyword written enough, and also avoiding what's known as "keyword stuffing". This is when the keyword is written so many times it becomes more like spam than an actual article.

When writing an article, focus on a few keywords, and when writing, make sure to add them in naturally. For those new to writing, this may be a bit more difficult, but with time, you may very well end up adding in the appropriate amount of keyword for maximum search engine exposure naturally.

2. Focus on the user, not the search engines

A major mistake many people make with SEO is focusing too much on getting great search engine rankings, and not enough focus on the actual people who will be viewing and interacting with the site. One of the biggest factors for great SEO is the actual user experience.

Google is constantly changing its algorithm to be more focused on the user. For those who do this, they'll find they do better every update. For those who don't, they'll find their rankings dropping fast.

Be sure to keep the user in mind by creating content that reads well, adds value, and also have a user-friendly website.

3. Link up your site

Link building is a crucial part of SEO, but this isn't just having your links listed on other people's website, it also includes your own. When Google see's your website is linking other pages of your site, it tells the Google bots the content on your site is relevant. One of the best ways to do this is to relate information in an article your writing to previous information in another article.

For example, if you own a fitness blog and already have a published post about dieting, while typing about exercise, you could tie in how dieting is relating, and then link to that dieting article. This makes it natural, relevant, and search engine friendly

How To Be Benefited By SEO Organic

Many of us know what SEO stands for and what it is. To recap, it is search engine optimization and it refers to how search engines rank your material found on websites. Since there aren't many people who go to a second, third or fourth results page, everyone wants their website to rank at least on the first page, if not in the top five of all searches. How is this achieved? While SEO itself has different forms, we are interested here in looking at the organic variety, that is, methods used to obtain a high ranking in unpaid, algorithm driven results on any given search engine.

Organic SEO is a way of boosting keywords, using high quality content and doing things like back-linking. It is called organic since it can grow and develop your site, if done correctly, much like any organism can grow and develop, but it has to be done properly.

There is of course many backhanded methods used to boost a site ranking. This isn't a great thing to do as it uses keyword stuffing and link forming along with other things that may ultimately get your site shut down by the big search engines. No one wants that. But, using some form of this none to user friendly methodology may just make your site relevant for a while, that is, until the users realize it has bad content and isn't really what they were looking for after all and what happens then? Traffic dwindles, people go elsewhere for information and your site loses rankings in the long run.

So what do you do to combat this? Organic SEO can easily be achieved by optimizing your website pages to be relevant, by spreading links pointing to content and by incorporating metatags throughout your site. All of the best methods rely on relevancy of content. You don't need to stuff your articles with keywords to get clicks, you just have to have the right keywords to get your audience to your site.

By using organic SEO you not only generate more clicks, but the results last longer, you get a trust going with your users and it is cost effective to run. Keywords may be something that is important, but changing them up just a little to get maximum return in the way of clicks and visits is far better than stuffing uninteresting articles with them in the first place.

The 8 Parts of Speech

If you understand the 8 parts of speech, everything else in grammar will be made simple for you.

It's true.

Just look at this list of seemingly complicated topics which can be easily understood and summarized if you know the parts of speech: prepositional phrases, dependent clauses, gerunds, participles, and infinitives.

Before I show you how easy all of those topics can be, let's review the parts of speech.

Every single word in the English language belongs to one of eight categories or "parts of speech." These categories give us a way sort through words and organize them based on their form and function.

1. Nouns name people, places, things, or ideas. (Mary ate the pie.)

2. Pronouns take the place of nouns. (She ate it.)

3. Adjectives modify nouns and pronouns. (Eat the apple pie.)

4. Verbs show an action or a state of being. (Eat the pie.)

5. Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. (Quickly eat the pie.)

6. Prepositions show the relationship between a noun or pronoun and some other word or element in the rest of the sentence. (Eat the pie in the kitchen.)

7. Conjunctions join words, phrases, or clauses. (Would you like the pie or the cake?)

8. Interjections show emotion. They are not grammatically related to the rest of the sentence. (Wow! I'd like both!)

Now, let's tackle that complicated list from above...

Prepositional phrases act as adjectives or adverbs. They are groups of words that begin with a preposition and end with a noun or a pronoun.

The dress with stripes is mine.

With stripes is a prepositional phrase. It begins with a preposition (with), it ends with a noun (stripes), and the whole phrase is acting as an adjective describing dress. Cool, huh?

Dependent clauses act as nouns, adjectives, or adverbs. They are groups of words with a subject and a verb.

Whenever I get nervous, I eat.

Whenever I get nervous is a dependent clause. It has a subject (I) and a verb (get), and the whole clause is acting as an adverb modifying eat.

Gerunds act as nouns. They are formed from verbs and end in -ing.

Running is fun!

Running is a gerund. It is formed from a verb (run), and it is acting as a noun. It is the subject of the sentence.

Participles act as adjectives. They are formed from verbs and end in -ing, -d, -t, or -n.

Look at the shooting star.

Shooting is a participle. It is formed from a verb (shoot), and it is acting as an adjective modifying the noun star.

Infinitives act as nouns, adjectives, or adverbs. They are formed with "to + a verb."

I love to run.

To run is an infinitive. It has the form of "to + a verb" and it is acting as a noun. It is the direct object of the verb love.
